Montessori clubs for little ones

Originally created for Reception and Year 1 children at a local primary school, Montessori Discoverers has been a much-loved after-school club from the start. Due to its success, we’ve developed a simplified version especially for younger children aged 2 and up.

This daytime club still embraces the Montessori philosophy, using high-quality, beautiful materials to inspire learning. Each week, children enjoy a variety of fun, creative activities from crafts and sensory play to simple science experiments, all designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

Grown-ups are warmly welcome to join in too! It’s a lovely opportunity to learn and explore together in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Led by me, Alex Lawson, an experienced and passionate Montessori educator, the sessions are carefully planned to nurture creativity, independence, and a love of discovery in even the youngest learners.

Montessori Discoverers (Mini Edition) runs during term time on:

  • Mondays from 10am-11am at Pickled Pepper Books

  • Tuesdays from 10am-11am at the Parlour @ Muswell Hill Books

  • Fridays from 10am-11am at The Parlour @ Muswell Hill Books

  • Sessions take place during term time on the following days:

    Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 11am.

  • Single session - £12.00

    Triple sampler - £33 for three sessions (£11 per session)

    Term block - £100 for a term block of 10 sessions (£10 per session)

    Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds if you can’t attend a booked session. If a class is cancelled due to illness on my part, I will credit you place on a future class.

  • Children aged between 2 - 5 years.

    Please note this group is not suitable for older children in Year 1 and above.

  • Each session has a specific topic that we will focus on, such as the life cycle of a butterfly, magnets, land and water forms and so much more.

    I have designed activities for the children to learn all about the topics and we’ll have lots of fun too!
